The Ormond Bar

Recently refurbished, The Ormond bar is popular with locals and residents alike. We've retained its traditonial character, but it's smart, comfortable and relaxing with magazines, newspapers, free wifi and by popular demand, extra comfy leather bar stools. We have a fire in winter and a TV for key sporting events.

If you are just looking for a hot drink we serve a wide selection of teas, hot chocolate or illy coffee with a selection of homemade cakes, flapjacks and chocolate brownies.

If you like informal dining it's perfect for a meal and we offer the same menu in the bar and restaurant. It changes regularly and is carefully selected to feature local and seasonal produce with daily specials.

We have a selection of real ales from Sharps Brewery based in Rock, Cornwall, winners of the Good Pub Guide Brewery of the Year 2008 and great local ales from the Nailsworth & Wickwar Breweries, plus a range of premium branded draught and bottled beers and local organic ciders.

Our wine list offers a superb selection of wines with something for every budget or perhaps you might like a glass of rose prosecco or a warming mulled wine served through the winter months.

Luscombe Organics and Frobishers Smoothies make a good alternative to alcohol. If you've enjoyed a meal then why not try some great local digestifs from the Cotswold Liqueur Company, an excellent way to end the meal but beware they are very alcoholic!
