We are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best shooting estates in the country offering pheasant, partridge, woodpigeon and venison or clay pigeon shooting if you prefer. Here at the Ormond at Tetbury, we have been looking after shooting parties for 5 years and we know the exactly what you are looking for from hotel.

Apart from comfortable, quality accommodation, great food is high on any gun's list. Start the day with a full English breakfast, beautifully cooked using the best local bacon, Gloucester Old spot sausages and free range eggs from Sherston Farm. We can prepare a lunchtime hamper for you with delicious homemade goodies, sausage rolls, quail scotch eggs, beef consomme, bloody marys and champagne or head back to Tetbury for a delicious hearty-warming lunch and refreshing local ale.

Our award-winning cooking varies from welcoming country dishes such as rabbit and tarragon pie or steak and kidney pudding to British classics such as beef wellington or turbot in red wine. We can prepare a menu that is as extravagant or as homely as you like, with homemade snacks and afternoon tea all available if you've really worked up an appetite. All menus can be discussed directly with the chef to ensure your party is catered exactly as you'd like it and we have an exceptional wine list with something for all tastes and pockets.

And not forgetting your faithful friend; well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar and some of the bedrooms, and we can provide a bone for a special treat after a long tiring day retrieving!
